Niraï Melis (sociologist MSc, and a background in Marketing Management) is defined by her versatility. She has worked across sectors and roles — policy advisor, researcher, director, programme maker, chairwoman — rarely staying in one lane for long.

The thread running through it all is her gift for sensing what others can't. She began as a spiritual coach for adults, until she noticed a pattern: most adult struggles trace back to what went unseen, and unhealed, in childhood. So she turned toward children instead — becoming a Child Whisperer, and holding dozens of conversations with young children and their parents.

What children told her surprised her. The root of their struggles, again and again, wasn't something wrong with them — it was how society itself is built, and the choices it makes. They didn't feel at home in it. Niraï set out to tell their story, so the world might make more room for them — through writing, through advising organisations, through speaking, and now, through her books and courses.

Education

Niraï studied Marketing Management, and later Sociology — Urban Studies and Policy, specialising in Urban Economics — at Erasmus University Rotterdam. A traineeship with a government secondment agency followed, where she worked across various policy and advisory assignments.

Alongside this, she trained as a Reiki Master and studied Universal Human Life, Positive Thinking, Trauma Healing, and Merkaba Healing — the balance between her innate spiritual gifts and everyday life.

Niraï trained as a sociologist, but her work took an unexpected turn early on. As a spiritual coach, she noticed something she couldn't ignore — that most of what adults struggled with traced back to something unseen, or unspoken, in childhood. So she turned toward children instead, and became a Child Whisperer: someone who speaks with children directly, energetically, about what's really going on beneath the surface.

What she heard surprised her. Again and again, children pointed not to something wrong with them, but to how the world around them is built — the choices society makes, the spaces that leave no room for who they really are. At the same time, she saw mothers stressed and exhausted by the same choices society makes. She felt so sorry for all the moms, especially since a lot of moms got mental and health problems because of it.

It reminded her of her own youth and family. She deeply remembers the sadness and grief of the women around her, just because they were suppressed. It has always been her dream to see the smiles of those women again. When she heard the truth of the children and the stories about the Matriarchal era, she couldn't unhear it. So she started writing it down.

That's what you'll find here: sociological research, sat side by side with what children and mothers have quietly known all along. Not theory handed down from outside, but wisdom drawn from real conversations — with children, with women, with the parts of ourselves the world doesn't always make room for.

Niraï holds a degree in Sociology from Erasmus University Rotterdam, alongside training in trauma healing and energetic communication. But the real credential is the hundreds of hours spent listening — to children who couldn't yet find the words, and to women ready to trust their own.

This site holds what came out of that listening: books, courses, and a vision of what life looks like when it's built around what actually keeps women and children well.
