Guides and Protectors
Beyond learning from living and mythical animals, every child has something even more special—power animals. These are protective guides from another dimension that walk alongside your child, offering wisdom, strength, and support throughout their journey. Understanding your child's power animals can help you better support their unique gifts and navigate life's challenges together.

What are power animals?
In addition to learning from living and mythical animals by connecting with their energy, all children also have power animals with them. These are animals from another dimension that protect and guide your child on their path. Power animals are present with your child when they can help in their development. How many and which power animals your child has depends on what your child needs. Power animals can come and go. It may be that your child has one power animal; at other times they may have three or even four.
Power animals are often animals that also exist in this world. Each power animal has talents that it shares with your child. Someone who is analytical often has an eagle as a power animal. Someone who is fast, a tiger. Your child can easily call upon their power animal through meditation.
Recognizing your child's power animal
You can usually easily discover which power animal your child has. Children often choose their power animal as their favorite animal and talk about it frequently. When children dream about animals, it's usually for a reason. Power animals want to help 'their' child and often speak with your child when they are undisturbed and can easily enter their dimension: during sleep.
my personal experience
I myself have a large mountain lion, also called a puma, as a power animal. I can connect energetically with this mountain lion. I feel her standing next to me. Sometimes I make use of this connection. During difficult conversations, I ask her to stand between me and my conversation partner. I also pay attention to her reaction. If she's calm, then I know the conversation will end well. If she's pacing, then I know I need to be alert. If she positions herself sharply, as if she's going to attack, then I know I need to stand my ground and bring the conflict to a head.
How your child can work with power animals
Your child can interact with their power animals in the same way. They can use the talents and powers of the animal to develop themselves. In difficult situations, your child can connect with the talents of their power animal. They can then use the 'superpowers' of the animal. Your child can also gain self-confidence by connecting with their power animal. A butterfly flutters so beautifully, so if your child 'flutters' around a lot, that's a beautiful quality. After all, butterflies do that too.
Supporting this connection
When your child talks about their favorite animal or seems particularly drawn to a certain creature, pay attention. This may be their power animal trying to communicate. Encourage your child to learn about this animal, meditate with it, and call upon its strengths when needed. This connection is a powerful tool for building resilience, confidence, and self-awareness throughout their life.
