How do I find my life purpose?

Welcome to this free wisdom course

"What is my life purpose?" It is one of the most asked questions in the world. Maybe you ask it too, when you feel stuck, when life feels busy but empty, or when a new chapter begins. Here is something beautiful: your soul already knows the answer. Before you came to Earth, your soul chose what she wanted to contribute, learn, experience and do in this life. Everything you need for that path is already present within you. Finding your life purpose is less about searching outside yourself, and more about remembering who you are. Welcome to this wisdom course.

What children and women told me

What your life purpose is

Before your soul comes to Earth, she chooses what she wants to contribute, learn, experience and do. She draws up a kind of life contract. Before she truly begins her life, she prepares by learning the talents, skills and knowledge she needs. Your life purpose is the path your soul chose: the roles you came to fulfil, the lessons you came to learn and the love you came to give.

Your soul is your guide. She shows you the way, often without you noticing. She shares wisdom on your journey, brings you to paths you don't know yet, and gives you the chance of love and happiness. Your soul lives in your body, in your third eye, your heart and your belly. Listen closely to these places and follow her direction.

Everything you need is already within you

Your soul carries all the talents and skills she needs for this life from the moment of birth. What you need for your life purpose is already present in you as potential. When something comes easily and gives you energy, that is often a clue. When something is very hard to learn, it may be a talent you simply don't need on your path.

When people say you can't do something, they usually mean that they can't do it themselves. It says nothing about your possibilities. Look at what you can do, find a place in society where you fit, and surround yourself with people who believe in you. Your potential is infinite.

Who you are matters more than what you are

As a child you were often asked: "What do you want to be when you grow up?" It can feel as though you only get one choice. Many people discover that it matters less what you become, as long as you help other people, animals or the Earth. Who you are is what truly matters. You are already someone, every day. How you respond to people leaves an impression. Your choices influence the lives of others. With your emotions and choices, you can give someone the best day of their life.

So ask yourself: which roles do I want to fulfil in this life, and how? What kind of mother, daughter, sister, friend, partner or colleague do I want to be? And where are my boundaries? The answers give direction to your life.

Your life purpose grows with your cycles

Every seven years a new cycle begins, physically, mentally and spiritually. Each new cycle can bring you a new role, a new mission and perhaps a new archetype. Your body and brain change, and you begin to respond and act differently. That is why your life purpose can feel different at 28 than at 21, and different again at 42. Your purpose grows with you.

The transition between two cycles is a powerful moment to ask yourself who you are, how you want to be and what you wish for in your life. Celebrate it with a ritual: look back at what has been, and look ahead to what you want.

Why you sometimes feel lost

Many women tell me they have "lost themselves". Society pushes us in many directions, and we adapt. Role patterns and trauma, sometimes inherited through the female lineage, can pull you away from your own path. And sometimes we stop asking questions and let life simply happen to us.

Feeling lost is normal. These phases are meant to bring you back to yourself. Somewhere in the mist of your soul, your strengths lie hidden. You find your way back through connection with yourself: in nature, in silence, in meditation, or in the loving eyes of another soul.

Make it your own:
Find your life purpose

Listen to your soul

Sit quietly and bring your attention to your heart, your belly and your third eye. Ask your soul: "What did I come here to do?" Accept whatever comes, a word, an image or a feeling. The answer often grows over days or weeks.

Ask yourself conscious questions

Regularly pause and ask: Who am I? What do I want? What can I do? What do I want to change, and what do I want to keep? By asking these questions, you stop rushing and start steering your life.

Follow your energy

Write down the moments when time disappears and you feel alive. What were you doing, and who were you with? These moments point to the talents your soul brought with her.

Discover your archetype

Archetypes, numerology, astrology and human design can give you insight into your role in life. Are you a builder, a healer, a connector or a guide? Knowing your type brings rest: you know what you are good at, and you know that others are good at other things.

Choose your roles

Write down the roles you fulfil: woman, daughter, friend, partner, mother, colleague. Next to each role, write how you want to fulfil it, and where your boundaries are.

Celebrate your cycles

Which seven-year cycle are you in now? Create a small ritual to honor it: look back at what you have learned, and set an intention for what you wish to grow into.
